Like many of us, I had some great teachers growing up and some not so great teachers. So when it was time to head off to college, I knew that I wanted to pursue a degree in education because I know first hand the value of a great teacher!

 

• Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame. 

• Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Literacy at Lesley University, Cambridge MA

Connection with others is important to me, so let me share a bit more about myself beyond my 10 years as an elementary teacher.

I'm the youngest of three kids and we grew up in Dallas, Texas and I'm very close to my family. My family relocated to Boston, MA in 2009, so it's not a surprise that after graduating college in 2011, I found myself in Boston. Shortly after moving, I met Chris and a few years later we got married!

​

When I'm not teaching, you will find me chasing after my toddler and going on hikes with my 100 pound bernedoodle giant dog!

Chris is from New Jersey and received a job opportunity that brought us closer to his family. This move also provides me with the opportunity to make my dream a reality and start the Lynch Center for Learning!
